Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting (TAA) Asia Pacific has introduced a suite of new capabilities to its CCH iFirm® platform in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), aimed at enhancing compliance, client management, and workflow for accounting firms. These updates support Wolters Kluwer’s Firm Intelligence strategy, which integrates expert content, cloud software, and artificial intelligence to facilitate decision-making.

CCH iFirm functions as a centralized cloud platform, offering a holistic approach to managing client relationships, jobs, and compliance workflows. The recent enhancements are designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability for users.

Key updates include the CCH iFirm Tax News & Research App, which integrates with CCH iKnowConnect® to allow users to access tax news and conduct research directly within the CCH iFirm platform. This is a first-of-its-kind integration in ANZ, combining Wolters Kluwer’s content with its software.

Additionally, a new Cloud-Based Workflow Dashboard for CCH iFirm Workpapers provides managers and partners with real-time visibility into workpaper progress. This feature assists firms in meeting deadlines, reducing write-offs, and managing workloads proactively.

Another significant enhancement is the GenAI-Powered Virtual Agent, known as the CCH iFirm Advanced Virtual Agent. This generative AI-powered tool offers 24/7 technical support, supplementing traditional service channels and providing faster access to information.

Further updates contribute to a more streamlined end-to-end workflow across the platform. These include one-click document sharing to CCH iFirm Document Vault, two-way data synchronization between CCH iFirm Client Accounting and CCH iFirm Workpapers, and a redesigned CCH iFirm Client Portal and CCH iFirm Signatures experience for secure client collaboration.

Megan Mulia, Managing Director, TAA APAC, stated, “These enhancements are designed to help firms grow by reducing time spent per job and improving visibility across the practice. CCH iFirm has undergone significant transformation and continues to evolve through customer co-design and innovation, as demonstrated by our back-to-back Golden Bridge Awards and the recent APAC 2025 Stevie® Gold Win for innovation.”

These enhancements are now live, reinforcing CCH iFirm’s role as a cloud-based platform for accounting professionals in ANZ, aligned with Wolters Kluwer’s global Firm Intelligence vision.
