24X, a trading platform for non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) and FX swaps, is expanding access to its market data as demand for NDFs grows across the foreign exchange market. Since July, the Bermuda-based firm’s streaming NDF and FX swaps data has been available through DIGITEC’s newly launched D3 DataHub, adding to existing distribution through vendors such as Bloomberg.
The arrangement means DIGITEC clients, which include more than half of the Euromoney Top 50 FX trading firms, can add 24X data to their existing workflows without building a separate integration. The same data is already used by institutions including Crédit Agricole CIB.
James Watson, Head of Market Data at 24X, said the DIGITEC partnership places the firm’s NDF and swaps data in front of many of the world’s most active FX trading firms and that clients are already taking the data through D3 DataHub. He said 24X plans to keep extending its distribution to reach a wider share of the market.
The move comes as NDF activity on 24X reaches new highs. In July, the platform recorded a monthly record for FX NDF average daily volume of more than $9.4 billion and a single-day record of more than $14.7 billion.
Besides NDFs, 24X offers deliverable swaps, non-deliverable swaps, metals and spot cryptocurrency products to institutional clients. Launched in 2019, the company provides multi-asset access through a single interface with the aim of improving liquidity and lowering trading costs.
24X Bermuda Holdings operates two main subsidiaries: 24X Bermuda, which is regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and registered as an Introducing Broker with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and 24X National Exchange, the first US national securities exchange approved by the SEC to operate 23 hours each weekday.
