Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 21 January 2026

  1. Introduction
    • Welcome to Lumora Media Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as Shape Finance. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and services, including event registrations and sponsorships. By using our website or registering for an event, you agree to comply with these terms.
  2. Event Registration & Attendance
    • Registration is subject to availability and acceptance by us
    • Fees (if applicable) must be paid in full before the event.
    • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations at our discretion.
    • If an event is postponed, all tickets will automatically be valid for the new date. Refunds will not be issued unless the new date is significantly different or impossible for attendees.
    • Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person within the same organisation if notified at least 7 days before the event. We reserve the right to refuse substitutions that do not meet the event’s intended audience profile, seniority level, or eligibility criteria, including where attendance is restricted to senior professionals or specific industry roles. Tickets may not be resold, auctioned, advertised for resale, or transferred via third-party ticketing platforms without our express written consent. Any unauthorised resale or transfer may result in cancellation without refund.
    • In the event of a Force Majeure Event, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, relocate, convert to a virtual or hybrid format, or cancel the event.
    • Where an event is postponed or rescheduled, all tickets and sponsorships will automatically transfer to the new date. Refunds will not be provided unless we determine, at our sole discretion, that the rescheduled event is materially different in nature or timing. If the event is fully cancelled (not postponed), refunds will be issued minus any non-refundable processing fees.
    • We shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees or sponsors, including travel, accommodation, or subsistence expenses.
    • We are not responsiblefor external disruptions affecting attendance, such as transport strikes, weather, or travel delays, and no refunds will be issued due to such circumstances.
  3. Sponsorship & Partner Agreements
    • Sponsorship agreements will be outlined in a separate contract, which take precedence over these terms where applicable.
    • We do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes, including lead volumes, sales conversions, attendee engagement levels, or return on investment.
    • Sponsors agree that all marketing materials, branding assets, and promotional content provided must comply with applicable laws and industry standards and must not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
    • We reserve the right to refuse, amend, or remove sponsor materials that we reasonably believe to be misleading, inappropriate, or damaging to the reputation of the event or our brand.
    • Once sponsorship deliverables have commenced (including promotional activity, branding production, or marketing publication), fees shall remain payable in full and are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  4. Use of Website
    • Users must not misuse our website (e.g., unauthorized data scraping, hacking, or illegal content).
    • Content on this website is protected by copyright and must not be copied or used without permission.
    • We may modify or remove content at any time without notice.
  5. Event Programme Changes
    • We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, including but not limited to speaker line-ups, session topics, timings, formats, and venue layout, where necessary.
    • Such changes shall not entitle attendees or sponsors to refunds or compensation, provided the event proceeds in a substantially similar format and purpose.
    • We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of any material programme changes in advance where practicable.
  6. Data Protection & Privacy
    • We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.

This processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate business interests and contractual necessity.
    • By registering for this event, you acknowledge and consent to us sharing your name, job title, company, and email address with our event sponsors. Sponsors may contact you regarding relevant industry insights, products, or services.
    • Sponsors and partners receiving personal data act as independent data controllers and are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws.
    • You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting us or by using the unsubscribe links provided in sponsor communications.
    • We do not sell personal data to third parties.
  7. Photography, Video & Media Usage Consent
    • By attending our events, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings may be taken during the event.
    • We reserve the right to use such content for marketing, promotional, educational, and commercial purposes, including on our website, social media platforms, email marketing, advertising materials, and event recap publications.
    • If you do not wish to appear in recorded media, you must notify us in writing prior to the event or speak with a member of staff on-site so reasonable steps can be taken to accommodate your request.
  8. Liability Disclaimer
    • We are not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of our website or attendance at an event.
    • We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, pandemic or epidemic, public health emergencies, government restrictions, venue unavailability, supplier failure, power outages, internet outages, transport disruption, strikes, terrorism, or civil unrest.
