Sightview, an electronic health record and practice management partner for eyecare, will present two updated tools for its EHR/PM offering at Vision Expo 2026, scheduled for March 11-14, 2026. The enhancements include new digital payment options designed to streamline patient payment collection and an updated communications package intended to automate outreach, reduce patient leakage, and improve patient experiences.
One of the updated tools, Sightview Pay, is powered by Global Payments. This solution introduces digital payment options such as estimated payments, text-to-pay, and card-on-file, allowing providers to collect payments prior to or at the time of service. These expanded options are designed to accelerate cash flow for eyecare providers and reduce reliance on paper-based billing, potentially alleviating patient frustration.
Additionally, the Sightview Patient Engagement package enables providers to personalize and automate patient outreach, aiming to increase appointment volumes and engagement. It includes pre-made templates for annual reminders, lens sales, and automated post-service or post-delivery check-ins. These automated features are designed to create positive patient experiences without adding to staff workload.
Tycene Fritcher, CEO of Sightview, noted that patients increasingly expect a digitally-driven experience, particularly in optometry, where they seek a retail experience alongside clinical care. Fritcher stated that modernizing processes through solutions like tapping a phone to pay or automated text reminders can improve patient loyalty and experiences while streamlining backend operations.
Sightview plans to demonstrate these enhanced offerings at booth #4021 during Vision Expo 2026, alongside its integrated EHR/PM platform developed specifically for eyecare.
Sightview offers configurable, purpose-built platforms for optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians, connecting aspects from patient care to revenue streams. The company aims to help eyecare organizations maximize resources and workflows to improve efficiency and quality of care.
