PPI, a Canadian managing general agency, has introduced two new mobile applications, Insurance Compass (English) and Boussole d’assurance (French), designed to provide independent advisors across Canada with mobile access to essential insurance tools and resources.

The applications are intended to support advisors in navigating various aspects of the insurance sector, including underwriting, taxation, practice management, and succession planning. Insurance Compass integrates PPI’s existing insurance tools with practice management expertise into a unified platform.

Cathy Hiscott, President and CEO of PPI, stated, “The new mobile apps reflect PPI’s commitment to technology, innovation and integration- bringing together high-impact resources in a streamlined, mobile experience.” She added, “Our objective is to be indispensable to independent advisors across Canada enabling them to deliver exceptional service to their clients.”

Key features of the apps include direct access to PPI’s Advisor’s Guide to Insurance Taxation, a suite of financial calculators, underwriting insights, and provincial guidance on Wills and Estates Law. Additionally, advisors can utilize the Advisor Talk platform, which offers podcasts, videos, and articles from industry experts on topics such as marketing, succession, and client engagement.
