Planet DDS has launched AutoEligibility, a new native integration within its Denticon cloud-based practice management platform. This integration with DentalXChange automates insurance eligibility checks for Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) and group practices, streamlining front-office operations.
The AutoEligibility feature provides instant access to coverage details such as deductibles, waiting periods, and Medicaid eligibility directly within Denticon. This automation is designed to reduce claim denials, accelerate collections, and eliminate the need for manual checks via payer portals or phone calls.

AutoEligibility addresses this by syncing coverage data through DentalXChange directly into Denticon.
Benefits for front-desk and billing teams include saving an estimated four to six hours per office per day by automating eligibility checks, preventing denials through complete coverage visibility, building patient trust with accurate cost estimates, and standardizing revenue cycle performance across multiple locations. Ms. Maciel added, “Right now, one team member completes around 40 verifications per day, and with the implementation of AutoEligibility, we expect that number to double due to the speed and efficiency it brings to our processes.”
Designed for DSO scale, AutoEligibility provides comprehensive coverage details beyond simple yes/no checks, aiming for accuracy and consistency across hundreds of offices. It combines DentalXChange’s payer connectivity with Denticon’s native cloud architecture.
