Søren Skov Mogensen, a former Danske Bank executive, has been appointed as the new CEO of Copenhagen-based Netcompany Banking Services, with his tenure commencing on October 1. He will take over from Thomas Cordth, who has served in the leadership role since April 1.

Netcompany Banking Services was established following the $140 million acquisition of Danish banking solutions provider SDC by Copenhagen-based IT services company Netcompany, which closed in July 2025. Following the acquisition, former SDC CEO Torben Finnemann initially led Netcompany Banking Services to oversee the integration phase. Finnemann was later succeeded by Cordth earlier this year once the initial integration was completed. Cordth, who has been with Netcompany for over 25 years, will transition to lead the company’s sales division.

Mogensen confirmed the leadership transition via a statement on LinkedIn, noting that Netcompany Banking Services currently employs approximately 800 individuals and provides core banking technology to around 50 banks across the Nordics. The company generates an annual revenue of approximately DKK 2 billion, equivalent to $308.6 million.

His strategic focus as CEO will include expanding Netcompany Banking Services through both organic growth and potentially selective acquisitions. Mogensen joins the company directly from TITAN Containers, where he served as group CEO for three years. Prior to this, he spent three years at Danske Bank, rising to head of group strategy, and then three years as chief growth officer at Banking Circle Group.
