KX and NVIDIA Collaborate on AI Blueprints to Enhance Capital Markets Research and Trading

KX, a global provider of real-time, time-series, and AI-driven analytics, has announced the general availability of two new agentic AI blueprints for capital markets, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA.

These blueprints, an AI Research Assistant and Trading Signal Agents, are designed to enable capital markets firms to operationalize real-time decision intelligence across their research, trading, and risk teams. KX plans to demonstrate both solutions at NVIDIA GTC 2026, showcasing their integration with the NVIDIA AI Factory stack.

The KX AI Research Assistant blueprint aims to accelerate research workflows by improving the retrieval, summarization, and synthesis of structured market data, unstructured content, and proprietary documents used for earnings, filings, and investment research. Simultaneously, the KX Trading Signal Agents blueprint is intended to assist teams in discovering, validating, and monitoring signals in real time. It achieves this by aligning multi-modal information in market time and producing governed outputs that can be evaluated and incorporated into existing trading and risk processes.

The blueprints are built on NVIDIA accelerated computing and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, which includes NVIDIA NeMo Retriever, NVIDIA Nemotron embedding models, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. This integration combines GPU-accelerated vector indexing and search through KDB.

AI’s collaboration with NVIDIA cuVS, alongside KDB-X, KX’s time-series native analytics platform. This unified solution for capital markets supports what KX terms “Temporal AI,” designed to ensure AI systems understand not only “what happened” but also “when it happened.” By aligning data to event time and computing point-in-time correct context, the solution offers sub-second responsiveness and supports repeatable, auditable workflows at enterprise scale. These autonomous, goal-oriented agents operate directly on live data streams and coordinate across workflows to deliver validated, actionable outputs for human decision-makers.

Ashok Reddy, CEO at KX, commented on the current market challenges, stating, “Capital markets are facing an alpha paradox where more data and more AI can make it harder to find durable signal. The signal-to-noise ratio is collapsing. When signals decay before validation, and governance and economics can’t keep up, many AI approaches break down. KX is solving these problems with Temporal AI systems that turn real-time, multi-modal data into research and signal intelligence that teams can operationalize with speed, governance, and control.”

Ioana Boier, Global Head of Capital Markets Strategy at NVIDIA, added, “To extract durable alpha in today’s hyper-competitive markets, financial institutions need unprecedented computational capacity. Our collaboration with KX combines NVIDIA AI Factory stack with KX’s deep expertise in time-series data, enabling trading and research teams to overcome the traditional speed-intelligence trade-off and deploy complex models without sacrificing real-time execution at scale.”

A production-focused proof of concept with RBC Capital Markets has shown measurable impact. This effort resulted in “Aiden Quick Takes,” which incorporates specialized agents for earnings and filings workflows, reducing research cycles from hours to minutes across RBC’s capital markets organization. The proof of concept also demonstrated how KX, through its integrations with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, improved retrieval and search quality across structured market data, unstructured content, and proprietary documents essential for earnings and research decisions.

Bobby Grubert, Head of AI and Digital Innovation at RBC Capital Markets, highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships: “We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without RBC Borealis and our strategic partnerships. We’re prioritizing industry leaders that we go deep with in terms of strategy — NVIDIA and KX being two of those firms — as we go all in to scale up and out across capital markets.”

KX will conduct live demonstrations of the AI Trading Signal Agent and AI Research Assistant Blueprints at Booth #186 during NVIDIA GTC 2026. Additionally, Ashok Reddy is scheduled to present “From Signal to Strategy Unlock Alpha With AI Powered Research and Trading” on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 5:00PM PT. This session will explore how capital markets firms can operationalize insight and decision intelligence in real time. This announcement precedes the upcoming debut of KDB-X, the next generation of the kdb+ ecosystem, designed for real-time, data-intensive, and AI-driven applications. It also forms part of KX’s broader efforts to support capital markets, advance high-performance infrastructure, and operationalize AI at scale.
