Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has commenced a research study examining provider capabilities within the rapidly expanding Snowflake services ecosystem, with the comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® report, “Snowflake Ecosystem Partners,” scheduled for release in June 2026.
The study focuses on how enterprises prioritize providers offering automation maturity, FinOps discipline, and robust governance, highlighting the use of Snowflake-native tools like Snowpark and Cortex AI for data management improvements.
The upcoming report will cover companies specializing in Snowflake-focused modernization and AI/ML enablement, alongside ongoing managed data and optimization services. This research aims to assist enterprise buyers in evaluating vendor relationships and available offerings, while ISG advisors will use the insights to recommend providers to clients.
Snowflake has become a key data platform, transforming how enterprises store, process, and activate data for analytics and AI. Its cloud-native architecture provides enhanced scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency, helping organizations overcome limitations of traditional data warehouses. Global enterprises are increasingly adopting Snowflake to unify structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data under a single governance and security model, which streamlines data operations and fosters faster insights and AI-driven innovation.
Aman Munglani, senior director and principal analyst at ISG, emphasized, “Enterprises are prioritizing providers that offer automation maturity, FinOps discipline and robust governance. Using Snowflake-native tools such as Snowpark, Cortex AI and Native Apps enables them to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements in data management.”
ISG has distributed surveys to over 100 Snowflake ecosystem partners. The research team, in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, will define two quadrants for the report based on typical enterprise purchasing patterns. These quadrants are: Modernization and AI/ML Enablement Services, which evaluates providers delivering end-to-end strategy, advisory, and implementation support for Snowflake investments, focusing on data modernization and AI/ML integration; and Managed Data and Optimization Services, which assesses providers managing, monitoring, and optimizing Snowflake environments across various cloud platforms, including training and change management initiatives.
Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global Snowflake ecosystem. ISG analysts Gowtham Kumar Sampath and Hemangi Patel are the authors of the report. Additional details and a list of identified providers are available in a digital brochure, and companies not yet listed can contact ISG for inclusion.
