Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU), the global financial technology platform behind products like Intuit TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, has announced the launch of its new Intuit App Partner Program. This initiative aims to foster innovation and provide enhanced support for its Intuit QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite app ecosystem.

The new program introduces an improved developer experience, access to new APIs, and go-to-market initiatives designed to help developers and businesses on the Intuit platform grow. For over two decades, the Intuit Developer program has facilitated millions of QuickBooks customer experiences through thousands of integrated applications. Businesses utilizing the Intuit App Marketplace leverage these apps to address industry-specific needs, streamline processes, and save time through integrated experiences.

Joshua Hofmann, Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystems, Intuit QuickBooks, stated, “We’re deeply committed to investing in our app ecosystem and empowering developers to integrate innovative and high-quality applications for our shared customers. The new Intuit App Partner Program represents a significant milestone in our commitment to foster a thriving developer community and deliver exceptional experiences for all businesses on the Intuit platform.”

The new program establishes four distinct partner tiers—Builder, Silver, Gold, and Platinum—determined by customer adoption and the depth of app integration with QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite. Each tier provides developers with specific resources, support, and access to new benefits. These benefits, which vary by tier, include marketing opportunities, access to analytics for app usage insights, and early access to APIs.

Sabby Gill, CEO of Dext, commented on the new program, stating, “Our new Platinum-level partnership with Intuit is more than just a badge, it’s a shared commitment to helping accountants, bookkeepers, and businesses achieve bigger things. Together, we’re putting innovative and powerful tools in the hands of the people who move business forward, freeing them to focus on what really matters.”

The program’s launch coincides with the availability of several new APIs, offering developers richer functionality and deeper integration options with QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite. These new APIs cover areas such as project management, sales tax, and payroll, enabling developers to build integrations that scale with businesses and meet the more complex requirements of mid-market companies.

A new pricing model has also been introduced for the Intuit App Partner Program. It includes no-charge access to APIs initially, with variable API fees implemented as third-party apps expand their customer base on the Intuit platform. A flat monthly program fee is also applied based on developer tiers. This new fee structure enables Intuit to expand its investment in the overall partner program, including scaling developer infrastructure and support, and providing access to enhanced tools and richer APIs.

The new Intuit App Partner Program is currently available in the US. Further details can be found on the Intuit Developer website.

Intuit is a global financial technology platform supporting approximately 100 million customers worldwide with products like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp.
