Charlotte, N.

C. — DebtBook, a provider of cloud-based software for government and nonprofit treasury and accounting teams, has launched its new Contract Management solution to centralize post-signature agreements and enhance spend visibility and control for public finance departments.

The Contract Management solution is built on the same platform as DebtBook’s existing Lease Management and Subscription Management offerings. It enables organizations to collect and maintain signed contracts, monitor key terms and expenditures, and leverage insights to mitigate risk, improve financial reporting, and support confident negotiations.

Tyler Traudt, Co-Founder and CEO of DebtBook, highlighted the market need for such a solution. “We’ve consistently heard from customers that managing contracts across their organization is a major pain point—ownership is fragmented, records are incomplete, and visibility into spend is limited,” Traudt stated. He added that for teams responsible for complying with GASB 87, 96, and ASC 842, a significant challenge involves identifying the complete universe of contracts impacting reporting and compliance. Traudt noted that addressing these issues with a holistic contract management solution aims to simplify compliance with GASB 87 and 96 at year-end.

A native integration ensures continuous record synchronization between the new Contract Management solution and DebtBook’s Lease Management and Subscription Management platforms. This integration supports simplified compliance with GASB 87 and GASB 96 standards. Updates made in one platform automatically sync in real time across the others, which is designed to eliminate duplicate work and facilitate seamless collaboration among teams.

DebtBook focuses on assisting government and nonprofit finance teams in modernizing their operational workflows. The addition of Contract Management expands its portfolio of integrated solutions. The company’s offerings also include Debt and Cash Management, which aims to empower strategic treasury functions, automate operational tasks, and improve financial outcomes through data analysis. DebtBook’s Lease, Subscription, and Contract Management solutions are designed to automate GASB 87, ASC 842, and GASB 96 compliance workflows and centralize post-signature agreements for accounting teams. Over 2,100 organizations nationwide currently utilize DebtBook’s services.
