AiPrise, a company specializing in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) solutions, has secured $12.5 million in Series A funding to advance its platform for streamlined compliance and onboarding processes across international markets.
The funding round was led by Headline, with participation from Y Combinator, SixThirty Ventures, Correlation Ventures, and several strategic angel investors. Since emerging from Y Combinator’s Summer 2022 batch, AiPrise has expanded its customer base to over 150 global clients, including major enterprises such as Bridge, a Stripe company, and D.
Local, while growing its team to 40 individuals.
AiPrise’s platform supports businesses in managing compliance and onboarding operations across more than 150 countries. It integrates three core components: data drawn from over 80 local registries worldwide, an advanced decisioning and case management system, and AI agents designed to automate verification and fraud detection. This consolidated approach aims to enable businesses to onboard customers more rapidly, reduce compliance-related costs, and mitigate risks associated with fraud and varying regulatory requirements.
The company plans to deploy the new capital to broaden its product offerings and expand its team, responding to increasing global demand for its services. Specifically, the investment will facilitate the enhancement of AiPrise’s orchestration capabilities and the further development of its intelligent compliance layer, which is designed to simplify onboarding for enterprises expanding into new markets.
Chaitanya Sarda, co-founder and CEO of AiPrise, commented on the funding, stating, “Global companies shouldn’t have to rebuild compliance infrastructure every time they expand into a new country. We’re thrilled to have the support from Headline, who made a dozen introductions to companies in their network. With this Series A funding, we’re expanding our product and team to meet growing demand. Our goal is to give companies a single, intelligent layer for onboarding and compliance so they can focus on growth while we handle the complexity behind the scenes.” Sarda further indicated that the funds would be invested in two key areas: product development, aimed at building an AI-powered compliance tool for real-time, automated onboarding, and sales, to establish a robust sales team, moving beyond primarily founder-led sales.
Thomas Gieselmann, founding partner at Headline, remarked on their investment, saying, “When we first met AiPrise, it was clear they weren’t just building another KYC tool. They’re building the orchestration layer global companies need to operate confidently. By converting several prospective customers, we connected them with paying customers. AiPrise has shown both strong product-market fit and the urgency of the problem they’re solving.”
Rushabh Shah, co-founder and co-CEO of AiPrise, added, “Compliance should empower growth, not hold it back. With this funding, we’re building a smarter, unified platform that transforms fragmented, manual processes into secure, scalable solutions. Our mission is to enable global businesses to fight fraud, scale with confidence, and focus on what matters most: their customers.” The continued growth of AiPrise aligns with an industry trend towards businesses pursuing global expansion from inception, which intensifies the need for compliance partners capable of adapting to diverse regulatory landscapes and evolving fraud tactics.
