Keepit, a cloud-native data protection and recovery provider, has entered into a strategic agreement with Hammer Distribution, an enterprise-focused value-added distributor. This partnership aims to strengthen Keepit’s offering in the UK and Ireland, enabling customers to secure business-critical SaaS data with an independent recovery layer and ensure compliance with evolving UK regulations through local data centers.

Alex Walsh, Regional Vice President, EMEA North at Keepit, noted a significant increase in demand for specialized SaaS data protection. Walsh stated that data sovereignty is becoming a core principle for partners and customers, and Keepit’s local data centers and vendor-independent cloud address the growing need for cloud resilience.

Keepit’s cloud backup and recovery platform currently supports fourteen SaaS applications, with plans for further expansion. The platform offers budgeting predictability through per-seat pricing and is designed to ensure continuous data access for customers, independent of the original SaaS environment’s status. The company emphasizes vendor independence, compliance, and rapid recovery, aligning with demands in the UK market through its immutable architecture.

Walsh also added that collaborating with expert distributors like Hammer Distribution allows Keepit to deliver high-quality, localized support and scale its presence across the UK channel rapidly. Keepit’s Partner Network is designed to empower resellers, MSPs, and distributors to provide secure, cloud-native data protection, with a focus in the UK on expanding relationships with value-added resellers and managed service providers prioritizing cyber resilience.

Jan Ursi, Global VP of Channels at Keepit, mentioned that the company aims to be a partner-friendly organization. Ursi expressed enthusiasm about adding Hammer Distribution to their network to support UK partners and customers, focusing on building long-lasting relationships for mutual benefit.

Dominic Ryles, Director of Cloud and Cybersecurity at Hammer Distribution, explained their decision to partner with Keepit, citing an increased demand for third-party SaaS backup solutions that complement existing cloud investments. Ryles characterized Keepit as delivering best-in-class recovery for crucial applications, making it a natural and high-value addition to Hammer Distribution’s cybersecurity and data portfolio.

Keepit, headquartered in Copenhagen with global offices and data centers, provides a SaaS data protection platform built for the cloud. The platform secures essential business applications, enhances cyber resilience, and future-proofs data protection with separate, immutable data storage and no third-party sub-processors. This architecture is designed to ensure compliance with local regulations, mitigate ransomware risks, and guarantee continuous data access, business continuity, and effective disaster recovery.
