Wolters Kluwer Integrates Libra AI Workflows into InView Legal for Belgian Legal Professionals

Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory has announced the integration of Libra by Wolters Kluwer AI workflows into InView Legal (formerly known as Jura) in Belgium. This development introduces generative AI features directly into the research workflow for legal professionals, aiming to provide a seamless experience without requiring users to switch between tools.

The integration follows the launch of the Libra legal AI workspace in Belgium in February. That initial launch combined AI capabilities with authoritative legal content from InView Legal, supporting lawyers across their full workflow, from research and analysis to document drafting. With the newly launched Libra add-in, InView Legal customers can now utilize Libra’s AI functionalities for drafting, review, and analysis within a single, unified environment, handling their work from beginning to end. This solution reflects a broader market trend toward integrated, AI-powered workflows, moving beyond standalone digital databases.

Rimco Spanjer, Vice President & Managing Director for Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Benelux, stated, “The integration of Libra into InView Legal marks the next step in the evolution of legal work: from pure searching in databases to working within integrated AI-driven workflows. The seamless experience adds value to our authoritative content, written by leading experts, and makes it even more powerful to use in the daily practice of legal professionals.”

Within InView Legal, all AI capabilities maintain a close link to underlying sources. This design ensures that users retain full visibility into the origin of information, allowing them to rely on verifiable and citable content—a crucial requirement in legal practice. Viktor von Essen, CEO of Libra by Wolters Kluwer, commented, “The true value of AI in the legal domain ultimately comes down to trust. By combining InView Legal’s authoritative content and transparent sources with Libra’s AI functionalities, we enable legal professionals not only to work faster, but also to be confident in the quality and substantiation of their work.”

The Libra legal AI workspace has been successfully launched in 10 jurisdictions across Europe. Wolters Kluwer continues to integrate Libra with its existing solutions for research and practice management, such as InView Legal and Kleos, to establish an end-to-end AI-supported workflow experience for legal professionals.
