New York-based fintech Encore AI has successfully closed a $30 million Series A funding round, led by Team8, Planven, and repeat investor The Garage, with the capital earmarked for the global expansion of its enterprise AI platform.

Founded in 2022 by Dvir Ginzburg under its original name, Insait IO, Encore AI specializes in leveraging proprietary interaction mining technology. The company’s platform analyzes conversations between institutions and their customers, ingesting data from various communication channels including calls, chats, emails, and CRM systems. This analysis aims to identify and replicate behaviors demonstrated by an organization’s top-performing employees.

The insights gathered are then deployed across relevant channels and processes through AI agents. These agents are designed to operate autonomously or in conjunction with human employees, providing guidance during customer interactions.

According to a company statement, the funding round also saw participation from Yasmin Lukatz’s Israeli family office, alongside several large commercial banks and insurers that were initially Encore AI customers.

Dvir Ginzburg, founder of Encore AI, stated: “Every organisation already has data showing what its best people do differently. Encore trains AI agents on this data, enabling them to deliver quality and effective customer interactions at scale, resulting in uplift in revenue and satisfaction.” He further elaborated that the AI agents are capable of replicating the precise playbooks observed in successful human interactions, including specific anecdotes or even humor, to optimize engagement.
