Wolters Kluwer Financial & Corporate Compliance has announced new features for its iLien Borrower Analytics, powered by Expert AI. These enhancements introduce automated and expert-assisted review options, consolidating public records and lien statuses into a single dashboard while interpreting collateral descriptions and highlighting potential risks. The company states these capabilities can reduce review time by up to 40%.

Art Tyszka, Vice President and Segment Leader, FCC Lien Solutions at Wolters Kluwer, noted that financial institutions frequently contend with fragmented data, manual processes, and increasing compliance pressures. He stated that Borrower Analytics aims to enable lenders to make decisions more swiftly and accurately, simultaneously reducing operational expenses.

The new AI-powered features are designed to provide measurable performance gains. Lenders now have increased flexibility, allowing them to choose between a faster, fully automated review completed in minutes or an expanded expert review layer, based on their specific risk models. The platform also offers the ability to execute Borrower Analytics on selected searches. Analytics-driven confidence is further supported by enriched tagging capabilities on selected searches, intended to facilitate faster, more confident outcomes. The platform has also expanded its search types to include both UCC and non-UCC documents, and it can be integrated with select loan origination systems.

iLien Borrower Analytics, which launched in January 2025, is described as a first-to-market solution designed to streamline lien search and due diligence processes. The platform utilizes advanced AI to analyze UCC search documents and generate timely, compliant intelligence reports.
