Vouched, a leader in AI-powered identity verification, has introduced Agent Checkpoint, a new platform designed to help organizations manage and secure interactions with AI agents in the evolving landscape of agentic commerce.
The platform addresses challenges in identity, trust, and control that arise as intelligent agents increasingly complete tasks and make purchases on behalf of humans and other agents. Agent Checkpoint builds on the previously announced Agent Shield identification platform, which was released in May 2025, offering a comprehensive suite for agent identification and permissioning for website operators. Peter Horadan, CEO of Vouched, noted that current cybersecurity rules are being challenged by agents, stating, “Every website is realizing they now have AI agents coming through their login button, using the username and password of humans. These sites have no way to tell agents apart from humans, or even to know if a given agent is trustworthy. Agents are breaking all the prior rules of cybersecurity.”
Vouched’s customer data indicates that AI agents now account for 0.5% to 16% of all incoming traffic. Agent Checkpoint, serving as the flagship product within Vouched’s new Know Your Agent (KYA) suite, is designed to assist enterprises in reducing agentic fraud while simultaneously fostering secure, agent-driven revenue streams.
Agent Checkpoint provides capabilities that enable human oversight of agentic activity without hindering innovation. These include Authentication, which securely verifies human-to-agent interactions using OAuth; Delegation, allowing humans to precisely define agent actions and permissions; Legal Authorization, requiring explicit approval for agents to make binding commitments; Revocation, for instant withdrawal of permissions; and Auditability, to maintain complete audit trails for compliance and security.
Rosalyn Curato, Chief Innovation Officer & GM of Agentic Security at Vouched, commented on the market shift: “We are moving from a world where humans are the primary consumer to one in which AI agents transact at scale. Agent Checkpoint sits at the center of this shift by establishing the trust required for organizations to lean into agentic commerce with confidence. Enterprises shouldn’t have to choose between innovation and risk, and now they don’t have to.”
The Know Your Agent (KYA) product family, anchored by Agent Checkpoint, offers a comprehensive solution for the agentic era. Beyond Agent Checkpoint’s components (Detect, Enforce, and Govern for real-time AI agent interaction management), the suite also includes MCP-I (Model Context Protocol – Identity), which is built on Anthropic’s open-source Model Context Protocol to establish open standards for agent identity and delegation. Additionally, Know That AI provides a public registry for transparent verification of trusted AI agents, and Identiclaw enables autonomous agents to operate under limited permissions with full audit trails, reducing credential risk.
By establishing a new standard for agentic identity management, Vouched aims to allow organizations to embrace automation securely and responsibly. The Agent Checkpoint and KYA suite are positioned to enable enterprises to leverage the potential of AI agents while maintaining trust. Vouched, headquartered in Seattle, is an AI-powered identity verification platform serving industries such as healthcare, finance, and automotive, and verifies millions of human and AI agent identities globally each year, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
