Verimatrix, a provider of security solutions, has finalized the sale of 100% of its Extended Threat Defense (XTD) assets to Guardsquare, a Belgian mobile application security company.
This transaction follows the signing of an agreement announced on December 8, 2025, and subsequent regulatory approval. The divestiture aligns with Verimatrix’s overall strategy to refocus on its core business, specifically concentrating on key growth segments within the video protection market.
Laurent Dechaux, CEO of Verimatrix, commented that the company’s strong technological foundation enables its teams to pursue new business opportunities. He further stated that priorities include identifying key growth drivers, effectively addressing client needs, and optimizing resource allocation. Details on these strategic initiatives are anticipated to be presented when the company releases its annual results in March 2026.
