Two Prime Lending Limited, the secured lending affiliate of Two Prime, has introduced an Original Issue Discount (OID) loan product designed to provide corporate bitcoin treasuries with access to liquidity while allowing them to maintain long-term exposure to their digital assets. This offering addresses the challenges faced by companies navigating macro volatility and tightening credit conditions, which necessitate creative liquidity management without asset sales.

Alexander Blume, CEO of Two Prime, stated, “Bitcoin treasuries want to avoid forced selling, especially with long-term growth on the horizon, but they also need flexible tools to access liquidity for operations and expansion. Our OID loan structure is designed specifically for these institutions, delivering upfront capital without monthly interest drag or tax consequences.”

The OID loan structure allows companies to raise capital at a discount to face value, providing 0% interest financing. Borrowers receive 90–92% of the principal upfront, with the full face value due at maturity. This approach offers a fixed repayment amount, enhancing predictability and eliminating monthly interest obligations, thereby maximizing capital efficiency and supporting long-term treasury planning.

Two Prime Lending emphasizes the security of client assets. Collateral is held in segregated, secure custody with top-tier providers such as Fidelity, Anchorage, and Bitgo, and is never rehypothecated or traded. The loans are structured with a bankruptcy-remote framework and a risk-averse lending approach, supported by 24/7 client service.

With a lending capacity exceeding $3 billion, Two Prime Lending aims to serve institutional borrowers as the bitcoin asset market evolves. The company has also established lending partnerships with industry participants, including Hut 8 and Flowdesk.

Two Prime Lending Limited specializes in secured credit solutions for institutional bitcoin holders, including miners, asset managers, family offices, and corporate treasuries. Its affiliate, Two Prime Inc., is an SEC-Registered Investment Advisor focusing on digital asset quantitative trading, risk management, and trading services for institutional clients.
