Blackhawk Network (BHN) has introduced Game On Ontario, the Canadian version of its multi-brand gift card, now available in Ontario, offering a secure, convenient, and compliant method for players to fund online sportsbook and casino accounts with participating operators.

Game On Ontario is Canada’s inaugural multi-branded betting gift card, providing players in Ontario with the flexibility to manage funds across multiple gaming platforms simultaneously while supporting responsible gambling practices. The cards have no expiration date or post-purchase usage fees and are available in variable denominations ranging from $20 to $250 CAD. They can be purchased in-store or online at getgameon.ca. Once activated, users can fund accounts with multiple licensed operators by entering their card information on featured partner sites. The cards are issued by Peoples Trust Company and are specific to Ontario, usable only with licensed operators in regulated markets within the province.

Kate Sullivan, Vice President, Global Consumer Products at BHN, stated, ‘Game On represents the evolution of how consumers engage with online gaming. We’ve pioneered a solution that makes it easy to give or use value responsibly. For players, it’s a secure and streamlined way to load funds across their favorite platforms. For retailers and operators, it represents an opportunity to meet customers where they already shop—turning everyday retail touchpoints into gaming entry points, especially during key gifting moments like the holidays.’ Sullivan also noted that a previous U.

S. program involving four retailers running reward-based promotions on Game On gift cards saw a 181% increase in card sales, indicating significant incremental revenue and future customer engagement opportunities. BHN anticipates similar growth potential for Game On cards sold in Ontario.

BHN’s history of innovation in the payments sector includes Game On’s successful U.

S. launch in 2020. This expansion into Canada marks a significant step in meeting demand in one of North America’s rapidly growing online gaming markets. Ontario’s regulated online sportsbooks generated CAD 102 million in sports betting revenue in November 2025, a 29% year-over-year increase from over CAD 1.25 billion in wagers, according to Canadian Gaming Business. BHN is exploring expanding the Get Your Game On™ cards into other Canadian provinces in 2026 as regulations develop.

The expansion of Game On into Canada reinforces BHN’s role as an innovator in branded payment solutions. BHN aims to connect consumers to valued experiences through products that combine convenience, security, and regulatory compliance.
