Tickblaze has launched Ignite Connect, a new Order Management System (OMS) and Order Matching Engine (OME) designed to provide a unified institutional trading core for proprietary trading firms, brokers, and professional trading organizations operating at scale.
Traditional OMS and execution systems often struggle in high-volume, multi-tenant, and evaluation-driven environments, leading to inconsistent execution, inaccurate risk enforcement, and operational complexity. These legacy systems, often stitched together, fail to scale effectively, presenting challenges for firms managing thousands of accounts and aggressive drawdown rules across various asset classes.
Ignite Connect aims to address these issues by delivering a fully integrated trading backbone. It unifies the order lifecycle, matching engine, real-time risk engine, data distribution layer, CRM and back-office integration, and multi-environment trading front ends into a single deterministic system. Sean Kozak, CEO of Tickblaze, stated that Ignite Connect represents a fundamental departure from legacy OMS technology, built to perform reliably under the demanding conditions faced by modern prop firms and brokerages.
The system is purpose-built to support multi-tenant account structures, various account states (evaluation, challenge, funded, scaling), real-time drawdown and rule enforcement, and high-throughput execution during peak market conditions. It offers deterministic order handling and matching, along with unified front-to-back operational workflows, providing an institutional-grade trading core tailored for contemporary prop firms and brokers.
A core feature is its true per-symbol matching, where each symbol operates on an independent matching engine with a dedicated order book. This architecture processes orders deterministically, mimicking real exchange behavior, which allows for accurate PnL and drawdown tracking, realistic bracket and stop behavior, and improved execution consistency. Load is isolated at the instrument level, preventing activity surges in one market from affecting others.
Ignite Connect includes an institutional risk engine that enforces rules both pre-trade and post-trade in real time. Orders, fills, and PnL updates pass through a deterministic rules engine with immediate automated actions. This design mitigates latency gaps that could lead to rule exploitation, delayed enforcement, or inconsistent account states, offering firms control within a transparent trading environment.
The platform ensures real-time trading updates across desktop, web, and mobile environments with processing under 20 milliseconds. Every event is logged for full state reconstruction, facilitating dispute resolution, compliance review, and forensic analysis. The system has demonstrated capacity for nearly ten thousand orders per second. Additionally, Ignite Connect integrates natively with Tickblaze’s CRM and back-office infrastructure, streamlining account states, rules, commissions, reporting, and payouts from a single source of truth, thereby reducing operational risk.
Ignite Connect was developed in collaboration with Expert Trading Programmers (ETP), a firm specializing in complex order management systems. Adrian Tomulet, leading the ETP team, worked with Tickblaze to ensure the OMS and OME architecture prioritized determinism, scalability, and execution integrity. This launch signifies a key milestone in Tickblaze’s expansion into B2B infrastructure for prop firms, brokers, and funds, complementing its existing multi-asset trading platform. It supports white-label and gray-label deployments and integration with current systems.
Tickblaze provides a multi-asset trading platform for professional traders, proprietary trading firms, brokers, and funds. The platform supports discretionary and algorithmic trading across various devices and includes integrated OMS, OME, risk management, CRM, and back-office infrastructure, positioned as a comprehensive operating system for trading businesses.
