Taxbit, a platform for tax and accounting compliance in digital assets, has announced the appointment of Robin Melnick as Chief Revenue Officer and the opening of its new San Francisco office.
Melnick, who previously served as CRO at Vanilla and held senior leadership roles at Addepar and Bloomberg, brings experience in revenue operations, financial technology, business development, and growth strategy. She also served as a Senior Advisor to Taxbit for two years prior to this full-time appointment. Melnick stated that Taxbit has developed a strong platform for navigating compliance complexities and expressed her intention to help the company scale its global impact into 2026.
The new San Francisco office will serve as a hub for Melnick, Taxbit CEO Lindsey Argalas, and numerous employees. This location, situated in a technology and financial innovation hub, is intended to support executive leadership, strategic go-to-market initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

The company holds SOC 1 Type 1, SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, and ISO 27001 certifications. Taxbit has secured over $235 million in funding from investors including Ribbit, IVP, Paradigm, Haun Ventures, and PayPal Ventures, with additional offices in Seattle, Salt Lake City, New York, and London.
