SelectQuote, a specialist in Medicare insurance distribution and a healthcare services platform, has advanced its partnership with Findhelp, a closed-loop referral management software provider. This collaboration aims to provide seniors with comprehensive support by connecting them to essential community-based programs that address needs extending beyond traditional medical coverage.
The partnership leverages Findhelp’s extensive network to direct SelectQuote’s senior clients toward services for critical needs such as food, housing, transportation, and financial assistance. SelectQuote’s strategy involves improving accessibility and choice for seniors, with a focus that extends beyond health insurance to include solutions designed to enhance long-term well-being.
Findhelp’s platform enables users to search for and connect with social services across the United States. Its offerings encompass food assistance through pantries and programs like Meals on Wheels, support for housing and utilities, non-emergency medical transportation, affordable healthcare and prescription aid, and financial and legal counseling resources. The platform is designed to streamline access to these vital community resources.
This collaboration underscores the increasing recognition of social determinants of health (SDoH), such as food insecurity, housing instability, and lack of transportation, as significant factors influencing overall health outcomes. By addressing these non-medical barriers, SelectQuote and Findhelp seek to empower seniors to lead healthier and more stable lives.
Bob Grant, president of SelectQuote, commented on the initiative, stating, “Our mission has always been to serve our customers and provide them with the best possible options for their well-being, and that goes beyond just health insurance. Our partnership with Findhelp allows us to directly tackle the non-medical factors that impact our seniors’ health.” Grant further highlighted the impact of the collaboration, adding, “Reaching these milestones of having directed over 200,000 seniors to Findhelp with nearly 50,000 receiving services is a testament to the power of this collaboration and our shared commitment to improving the lives of those in need.”
