Recurly Deepens Shopify Integration, Achieves Shopify Plus Technology Partner Status

Recurly, a subscription growth platform, has expanded its investment in the Shopify ecosystem, culminating in Recurly Commerce being recognized as a Shopify Plus Technology Partner, a designation that validates its subscription solution for Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants. The designation was awarded after Shopify’s full review of security, performance, infrastructure, and product quality.

This move comes as ecommerce brands increasingly adopt recurring revenue models to enhance margins, improve customer lifetime value, and achieve more predictable growth. With rising acquisition costs and the financial challenges of single-transaction commerce, Shopify brands are prioritizing subscription programs for stronger retention.

Recurly Commerce addresses this market shift by offering a flexible, enterprise-ready subscription engine. It supports advanced use cases such as replenishment, memberships, mixed-cart subscriptions, prepaid programs, and both digital and physical goods.
