Pictet Asset Management, a subsidiary of the Geneva-based Pictet Group, has introduced three actively-managed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to the U.

S. market, aiming to extend its AI-driven quantitative and thematic investment strategies to financial advisors and investors.

The newly launched ETFs are the Pictet AI Enhanced International Equity ETF (PQNT), the Pictet Cleaner Planet ETF (PCLN), and the Pictet AI & Automation ETF (PBOT). This move marks a significant expansion for Pictet Asset Management, bringing its institutional investment heritage to a broader U.

S. audience. The Pictet Group, established in 1805, manages over $800 billion in assets, with Pictet Asset Management overseeing $333 billion as of August 31, 2025.

Elizabeth Dillon, CEO of Pictet Asset Management (USA), stated, “The launch of our first U.

S.-listed ETFs represents a significant milestone in bringing Pictet’s institutional investment heritage to advisors and investors. These strategies embody our 220-year commitment to independent thinking and pioneering investment strategies built upon robust research. They are designed as durable portfolio building blocks that reflect our forward-looking approach to emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and our deep investment expertise in global megatrends.”

The Pictet AI Enhanced International Equity ETF (PQNT) offers diversified international equity exposure, utilizing a transparent, factor-neutral AI model designed to generate consistent, stock-specific alpha while maintaining a low correlation to traditional quantitative strategies. David Wright, Head of Quantitative Investments at Pictet Asset Management, commented, “PQNT brings our AI enhanced international equity strategy, that was previously only available to our institutional clients, to U.

S. advisors for the first time. The strategy seeks to deliver consistent active outperformance without the black-box approach of many quantitative strategies.”

The Pictet Cleaner Planet ETF (PCLN) focuses on high-quality companies whose products and services are expected to accelerate the transition to a cleaner economy. This fund aims to capture opportunities across the entire environmental technology ecosystem, from efficient supply chains and smart grids to digital enablers, extending beyond traditional renewable energy investments. Yi Shi, Client Portfolio Manager for PCLN, noted, “Our decades of thematic investing experience have taught us that compelling opportunities arise where powerful megatrends – such as urbanisation, AI & computing power, resource scarcity, and climate change – converge to reshape how societies produce, consume, and connect. PCLN leverages our platform of more than seventy thematic investment specialists and three decades of institutional research capabilities to identify companies that are well-positioned to capture long-term secular growth drivers across these megatrends, accelerating the global economic transition towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.”

The Pictet AI & Automation ETF (PBOT) provides research-driven exposure to companies poised to benefit from the adoption of artificial intelligence and automation technologies. It targets transformative efficiency gains and productivity growth, aiming to avoid momentum-driven investing pitfalls. Anjali Bastianpillai, Senior Client Portfolio Manager for PBOT, added, “As thematic long-term investors, we can invest in the entire value-chain of artificial intelligence while positioning our portfolio to capture the key beneficiaries of AI as they emerge. PBOT provides investors with long-term exposure to AI and automation through rigorous fundamental analysis designed to capitalize on long-term benefits rather than short-term momentum.”

These new strategies leverage Pictet’s long-standing commitment to independent thinking, rigorous fundamental research, and a focus on long-term results, principles that have guided the firm’s success across various market and economic cycles. Pictet Asset Management has been a leader in thematic investing for nearly three decades, launching its first thematic strategy in 1995 and currently managing 15 specialized thematic strategies. The expansion into U.

S.-listed ETFs responds to rapid adoption of such vehicles among investors and their advisors.
