Outreach, an agentic AI platform for revenue teams, has announced the availability of its app within ChatGPT and its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server in Codex, marking its presence as a revenue orchestration platform natively integrated into OpenAI’s flagship products.

This integration allows Outreach agents and insights to be accessed directly within ChatGPT. The same Outreach MCP Server facilitates the application of Outreach context within Codex, supporting teams that build custom agentic workflows. The goal is to provide revenue teams with business context directly within their AI tools, enabling sellers to utilize pipeline data, generate collateral, and complete sales tasks without needing to switch between different platforms.

Ashley Kramer, VP of Enterprise at OpenAI, commented on the development, stating that “ChatGPT and Codex deliver even more value when they can act on live business data.” She added that the “Outreach MCP brings real revenue context into both, giving sales teams and the developers supporting them a single place to draft collateral, update deals, and move pipeline forward.” Abhijit Mitra, CEO at Outreach, highlighted that this release is the first instance where revenue teams can integrate trusted Outreach context directly into ChatGPT and Codex, offering a direct path for sellers and leaders to act on business context, with MCP serving as the underlying technology for cross-AI ecosystem functionality.

The Outreach app for ChatGPT and the Outreach MCP Server for Codex are currently available through the ChatGPT app directory and the Outreach Agentic Ecosystem. Joint customers are expected to gain revenue context across workflows, which aims to improve pipeline quality, accelerate deal cycles, increase seller productivity, and enhance forecast confidence.

This initiative extends Outreach’s MCP-powered interoperability strategy, connecting Outreach AI with leading models and agent platforms through an open standard. This aims to establish a single source of trusted revenue context for joint customers. The release also builds upon Outreach’s existing AI investments, which include Outreach Omni for unified pipeline management, Deal Agent for conversation intelligence-driven deal summaries and autonomous opportunity field updates, and Meeting Prep Agent for generating contextual customer briefs before meetings.

Further updates to Conversation Intelligence, powered by Outreach Kaia™, offer AI meeting summaries in Slack, automatic in-person recording via the Mobile app, and role-specific custom meeting summaries. Additionally, pipeline and forecast visibility features provide sales leaders and revenue operations teams with connected account insights, performance signals, and AI-driven forecast accuracy to identify risks and reallocate efforts proactively.

Founded in 2014, Outreach provides an agentic AI platform for revenue teams, integrating agentic AI, conversation intelligence, and assistive AI to support various revenue motions, from prospecting and expansions to deal acceleration, retention, and forecasting. The platform automates workflows to allow sellers to concentrate on strategic conversations. Enterprise organizations such as Databricks, SAP, Siemens, and Verizon utilize Outreach.
