Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan, has announced the launch of two new AI-powered platforms, Workforce Insights and Aida, designed to provide organizations and human resources (HR) practitioners with a comprehensive view of their talent landscape and workforce dynamics.

Workforce Insights is an AI-powered platform offering users the ability to compare workforce metrics against industry standards and identify emerging trends. The platform incorporates benchmarks from over 100 countries and 20,000 organizations, enabling more informed strategic decision-making.

Alongside Workforce Insights, Mercer is introducing Aida (Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant), a proprietary AI assistant integrated within the Talent All Access® Portal (TAAP). TAAP serves as a global intelligence platform for HR, offering access to benchmarking data, compensation trends, key learnings, curated content, compliance updates, and other global data sets and tools. Both Aida and Workforce Insights utilize chat-based interfaces, allowing HR teams to pose natural language questions and receive data-driven responses.

Pat Tomlinson, Mercer’s President and CEO, stated that AI is a “game-changer” for the firm, unlocking new levels of knowledge for consultants and enabling tailored solutions for clients. He emphasized that the introduction of these AI platforms empowers clients to interact with data in a more dynamic and intuitive manner, aligning with Mercer’s vision to embed high-quality AI safely and responsibly across its practices.

Jean Martin, Mercer’s Global Head of Career Products, noted that AI is reshaping how organizations create value and that Mercer is integrating AI across its solutions to help clients use data more effectively for strategy shaping and faster organizational decisions. She added that Workforce Insights and Aida were developed “by HR leaders, for HR leaders” and are built on industry-leading data quality and reliability.

Mercer’s research indicates a growing emphasis among Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) on leveraging data to guide decisions, secure project funding, and provide strategic value to business leaders. These new platforms are designed to address these evolving needs. Beyond product development, Mercer also advises organizations on maximizing investments in an AI-enabled workforce through work redesign, talent reskilling, and the development of flexible workforce models.

Mercer, a global leader in helping clients achieve investment objectives, shape the future of work, and enhance health and retirement outcomes, is a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).
