KEO World Inc., a global B2B fintech specializing in digital payments and AI-driven supply chain finance, has fully repaid its US$500 million secured loan facility from Hayfin Capital Management, an alternative asset management firm. The repayment was completed in line with the facility’s original four-year term, which commenced in January 2022.

The Hayfin facility was instrumental in the expansion of KEO World’s proprietary B2B supply chain financing platform, Workeo™, particularly within Mexico. During the term of the facility, Workeo generated nearly US$1 billion in credit volumes, providing support to thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger corporations across various supply chains. This growth positioned KEO World as a prominent B2B fintech platform in Latin America.

Following the repayment, KEO World is set to enter into a conditional merger agreement with Maha Capital AB. This agreement, subject to the satisfaction of applicable conditions, aims to support KEO World’s strategic growth plans, including the further expansion of its Workeo program.

Paolo Fidanza, Founder and CEO of KEO World, acknowledged Hayfin’s early support, stating that the facility enabled the company to validate its technology at scale, develop a market-leading B2B credit platform, and achieve a leadership position in Latin America. He confirmed the facility’s full repayment according to agreed terms and expressed KEO World’s intention to maintain Hayfin as a long-term partner.

Roberto Alessi, Managing Director at Hayfin, commented on the success of KEO World’s growth phase. He stated that the successful repayment demonstrates the strength of KEO World’s business model and its capacity for effective execution of expansion plans. Hayfin anticipates continuing its relationship as KEO World enters its next operational phase.

The completion of the repayment, combined with Hayfin’s ongoing role as a passive minority shareholder in the enlarged company, highlights the perceived strength of KEO World’s business model, technology platform, and its long-term objective of transforming global B2B payments and supply chain finance.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, KEO World operates across the U.

S., Canada, and Latin America. Its primary platforms include Workeo, which offers Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services for business invoices, and KEO Rails, an AI-powered blockchain payment system. Hayfin Capital Management manages approximately €35 billion in assets, specializing in private debt, liquid credit, and private equity solutions, with headquarters in London and offices globally.
