JAGGAER, a global leader in procurement software, has officially launched JAI, a new AI-powered assistant designed to enhance the efficiency and intelligence of daily procurement operations. This tool aims to streamline the process of buying goods and services, making it faster and less complex for employees.

Early data from customers utilizing JAI indicates significant operational improvements. Companies have reported an expected 50% reduction in support tickets within the first year and demonstrated time savings across over 40 distinct workflows. Adoption rates have shown substantial growth, with some instances reaching as much as 1,000% week-on-week, reflecting user satisfaction with its utility.

JAI functions as a knowledgeable virtual colleague, providing immediate access to company-specific purchasing rules and information on spending, suppliers, or contracts. This eliminates the need for employees to open help desk tickets or navigate multiple systems when seeking answers to common procurement questions, such as approval requirements or preferred suppliers.

Employees can input their questions in plain language, with JAI supporting 28 languages, to receive accurate and policy-compliant responses instantly. The assistant’s intelligence is derived from a company’s own documents and data, rather than broad internet sources, ensuring relevant and reliable answers based on actual policies. JAI also integrates with existing security and access controls within the JAGGAER system, maintaining data confidentiality.

Beyond basic query resolution, JAI offers capabilities for in-depth spending data analysis. It can identify spending outside approved channels, assess supplier risk, and pinpoint areas for cost reduction—tasks that traditionally require extensive manual analysis.

JAI is currently available for deployment, with setup achievable on the same day a company decides to implement it.

Andrew Roszko, CEO of JAGGAER, stated, “Procurement has always been about making smart decisions with limited time and information. JAI changes that equation entirely. It is embedded into the core platform and actually earns trust – it knows your business, respects your rules, and gives you answers you can act on. This is just the beginning.”

A large financial institution shared its initial experience with JAI, noting the high regulatory and contractual standards that supply chain teams must navigate. They highlighted the challenge of referencing complex principles spread across various guides and systems. “JAI changes that. By creating a unified view of all these standards, users can find the answers to their questions, rapidly and efficiently, without exiting the system. We’re confident in improvements on ticketing times and audit preparation in the future. But the time savings and accuracy of the detail we’re seeing in the Early Access phase is already a huge win.”

With 30 years of expertise, the company provides AI-powered industry-specific solutions and services under its JAGGAER One platform, catering to both direct and indirect procurement needs and supporting the journey towards Autonomous Commerce.
