Hack The Box (HTB), a provider of AI-powered cybersecurity readiness and upskilling software solutions, has partnered with LinkedIn, becoming LinkedIn Learning’s first cybersecurity training labs partner.
This collaboration aims to address a widening cybersecurity talent gap. New LinkedIn data indicates that companies hiring for cybersecurity skills have increased by 75% year-over-year, and job postings have surged by 31%. However, the number of professionals adding cybersecurity to their profiles has grown by only 4%.
Under this partnership, Hack The Box, which offers over 1,800 hands-on cybersecurity labs and courses, will contribute a curated selection of threat-informed labs to the LinkedIn Learning platform. These labs will be delivered through HTB Academy, the company’s guided upskilling platform. Designed specifically for LinkedIn Learning, the new training labs will focus on in-demand cybersecurity analyst skills, providing real-world, role-based upskilling to enhance workforce readiness.
Users will gain access to role-based, interactive courses from HTB Academy within the LinkedIn Learning environment. The labs are embedded directly in the course interface, eliminating the need for additional logins, software, or systems. This integration enables professionals to practice and validate real-world offensive and defensive operational skills through performance-based, scenario-driven learning.
Haris Pylarinos, Founder and CEO of Hack The Box, stated, “As threat actors increasingly adopt AI to accelerate and evolve cyberattacks, organizations must equip their teams adequately to respond with speed, precision and expertise. Through our partnership with LinkedIn Learning, we are integrating HTB Academy’s performance-based, scenario-driven labs into a trusted platform, enabling professionals to build real-world expertise and giving enterprises a trusted way to validate and scale cybersecurity readiness.”
Each course includes performance-based assessments of real-world cyber skills, providing proof of competency. This allows enterprise leaders to confirm that their upskilling investments are producing job-ready professionals capable of performing in high-pressure environments.
Lea Kissner, Chief Information Security Officer at LinkedIn, commented, “One of the biggest challenges facing organizations today isn’t just filling cybersecurity roles, it’s guaranteeing that talent can grow, adapt, and lead through change. By further integrating hands-on skills development into our platform through this partnership with Hack The Box, we’re helping organizations future-proof their workforce.”
The partnership is designed to deliver enterprise-wide impact. Executives can align upskilling with business goals, while security leaders benefit from structured, role-based learning. Managers can track team progress and address skill gaps, and professionals can demonstrate real-world capability through threat-informed labs.
Both Hack The Box and LinkedIn were recently recognized in Forrester’s Q4 2025 Cybersecurity Skills and Training Platforms Landscape Report for their contributions to practical, accessible cybersecurity upskilling and workforce readiness. Founded in 2017, Hack The Box has developed a global community of over 4 million members and serves 1,500 enterprises, providing gamified labs with enterprise-grade scalability and comprehensive readiness across both offensive and defensive cybersecurity domains.
