DocuSketch, a technology provider for insurance carriers and restoration businesses, has launched the DocuSketch Estimate Grader, a free, AI-powered tool designed to enhance estimating accuracy and streamline the claims process.

The DocuSketch Estimate Grader is now available directly on DocuSketch.com and is powered by Ask AiME. The tool aims to provide contractors, insurance professionals, and policyholders with actionable recommendations to improve estimating accuracy, addressing the current landscape where restoration professionals face high volumes of extreme weather-related claims. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), 2024 has seen 27 weather/climate disaster events, each incurring losses exceeding $1 billion.

This new solution allows restoration professionals to upload Xactimate files and receive detailed estimate review reports. Its features include a simple file upload experience via a dedicated landing page, secure single-use access to ensure privacy and compliance, and real-time recommendations and insights driven by real-world intelligence.

Chris Tilkov, Product Lead and Founder of Ask AiME, a DocuSketch company, stated, “With Ask AiME, which has reviewed more than 165,000 estimates, powering this new experience, we’re raising the bar for what restoration professionals can expect from estimate reviews—simple, intelligent, and built for the real world. This free tool is yet another way we are modernizing claims management solutions with technology that delivers real-world results.”

Based in Lakeland, Florida, DocuSketch has processed over one million insurance claims and serves a user base of more than 30,000 restoration professionals, including eight out of 10 of the largest restoration franchises. The company’s all-in-one product suite offers features such as immersive 360 documentation, technology-enhanced sketching and scoping, and services for generating insurance-compliant estimates, aiming to empower adjusters to handle more claims efficiently.
