Dawex, a provider of Data Exchange solutions, announced its technology will support the Decade-X France project, aimed at developing a secure and interoperable digital ecosystem for data collaboration within the aerospace and defense sectors in France.
The Decade-X France initiative, operating under the broader DECADE-X framework, seeks to facilitate data exchange among more than 10,000 entities, including manufacturers, OEMs, large organizations, and SMEs in the aeronautics, aerospace, and defense industries. The project’s goal is to enable seamless digital continuity, unlock data value across the ecosystem, and enhance AI strategies.
Dawex’s role involves deploying its Industry Data Space solution, which is designed to orchestrate trusted, secure, and compliant exchanges of data products. This technology will address industry-specific challenges such as product development and industrialization, supply chain resilience, traceability, conformity, and sustainability use cases.
The project receives support from the French government’s France 2030 initiative and leverages the expertise of industry and technology leaders including Airbus, Dawex, Sopra Steria, and Institut Mines-Télécom.
Fabrice Tocco, Dawex co-CEO, stated, “We are proud to bring Dawex Data Exchange technology to the Decade-X France project and power its Aerospace & Defense Industry Data Space. This highlights our commitment to providing impactful solutions that tackle the strategic business and operational challenges organizations face.” He added that drawing on experience with manufacturing data ecosystems like Data4Industry-X, which implements the Gaia-X Trust Framework and the Gaia-X Digital Clearing House, the Dawex Industry Data Space solution offers an immediate response to pressing business, environmental, and operational hurdles, while fostering digital continuity, unlocking data value, and strengthening AI strategies.
