Dakota Marketplace, a provider of investment intelligence, has launched its Private Fund Performance & Custom Benchmarking dataset. This new resource covers over 14,000 private funds across Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, Private Real Estate, Private Infrastructure, and Private Energy, and is integrated directly into the Dakota Marketplace platform.
The launch expands Dakota’s platform, providing an extensive and unified view of private markets performance. The expansion addresses a growing need as private markets increase in scale and strategic importance, with investment teams seeking deeper visibility, faster access to analytics, and more affordable alternatives to existing data providers.

The new dataset and benchmarking suite includes deep performance analytics backed by data from over 14,000 private funds across major asset classes. It offers custom benchmarking tools for manager, peer, fund-type, and vintage comparisons, with fully customizable options. The suite also features seamless integrations via API and the Snowflake Data Cloud, with daily updates curated by Dakota’s dedicated data research team.
