Barings, a global investment manager, acted as the Agent for senior secured credit facilities to facilitate Gresham’s acquisition of S&P Global’s Enterprise Data Management (EDM) business, a move expected to significantly expand Gresham’s market presence. The acquisition strategically enhances Gresham’s footprint in enterprise data management within the global financial services industry.
Gresham, supported by STG, a private equity firm with expertise in scaling software, data, and analytics companies, will integrate EDM to bolster its offerings. EDM is recognized as a market-trusted enterprise data management platform, serving a diverse client base that includes 30 of the top 60 global asset managers and supporting over $12 trillion in assets under management.
