On August 5, 2026, AutoRek announced its acquisition of Grath, a UK-based provider of reconciliation and regulatory compliance technology, for an undisclosed sum, integrating advanced software solutions to enhance its client offerings.
The transaction combines the software systems of both companies. AutoRek is now working to integrate Grath’s multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, which manages regulatory compliance and policy mapping over existing client networks. Customers will also have access to Grath’s recently launched Topa platform, which provides reusable matching services and governed agentic reasoning capabilities designed for embedding directly into in-house systems while maintaining architectural control.
AutoRek’s platform will continue to offer its core solution, providing controls automation combined with AI-driven operational intelligence. This offering supports customers with high transaction volumes and complex data sources.
Matt Povey, CEO of Grath, who founded the company in 2019 alongside COO Paul Wood, commented on the combined offering: “Whether customers want a dedicated deployment, a SaaS solution live in hours, or embedded agentic infrastructure, they can now adopt any model within a single governed framework.”
This acquisition expands AutoRek’s geographic footprint to include Grath’s client base in the US and UAE. This follows AutoRek’s earlier initiatives this year, including the opening of an office in Miami and the recruitment of two regional sales representatives. The technological enhancement also follows AutoRek’s recent appointments of Tony Livesey as Chief Technology and Product Officer and Jonathan Cathie as Chief Operations Officer.
