Arkose Labs Names Shimon Modi Senior Vice President of Product to Advance AI-Powered Fraud Deterrence

Arkose Labs, a prominent provider of fraud protection and bot management solutions, has appointed Shimon Modi as Senior Vice President of Product, tasking him with advancing the company’s platform against evolving digital fraud and abuse across the consumer journey.

Modi’s responsibilities will include leveraging artificial intelligence for both offensive and defensive strategies to combat sophisticated attacks, developing a future-ready roadmap to protect digital identities, and utilizing Arkose Labs’ consortium-driven intelligence. This intelligence, powered by insights from major global platforms, aims to provide customers with a strategic advantage against rapidly evolving threat actors. Modi stated, “Protecting massive digital platforms from everyday fraud, abuse and scams is not just a professional challenge, it’s personal. I think about the digital world my kids will grow up in, and I want to ensure it’s a safer, more secure place.”Modi brings 25 years of cybersecurity expertise to Arkose Labs. His background includes a PhD in biometrics and advanced user identification from Purdue University. He previously led product and engineering at threat intelligence startup TruSTAR, which was acquired by Splunk. Modi also contributed to shaping next-generation security solutions at Elastic and drove product strategy as VP of Cyber Product at Dataminr.
