Arkose Labs, a provider of fraud prevention, device ID, and bot management solutions, has announced the appointment of Dave Woolwine as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), who will lead the company’s global revenue initiatives, focusing on market expansion, channel strategies, and customer-centric sales.
Woolwine joins the executive leadership team, where his responsibilities will include enhancing the company’s global footprint, scaling channel and alliance programs, and building a sales organization aligned with customer needs. His priorities in this new role encompass further developing a consultative sales team, expanding Arkose Labs’ presence in regions such as APAC, Australia, and the UK, and exploring opportunities in underserved markets.
Frank Teruel, Arkose Labs Chief Operating Officer, commented on the appointment, stating, “As AI continues to change the landscape and needs of fraud prevention, Dave’s ability to align sales strategies with customer pain points will be critical in ensuring we continue to support our customers and the market as they face new and sophisticated threats.” Teruel also highlighted Woolwine’s proven track record in scaling organizations and pivoting to meet market demands.
Woolwine brings over two decades of experience in growing businesses, having scaled startups from $30 million to $150 million in revenue. Before joining Arkose Labs, he held a leadership position at the cybersecurity firm HackerOne, where he contributed to significant growth.
Explaining his decision to join Arkose Labs, Woolwine cited the company’s market-leading use of AI strategies, its impressive customer base including some of the world’s largest companies, and its innovative platform vision that combines device ID and bot management. He also noted the immense opportunity for global expansion and addressing the evolving needs in fraud prevention. Woolwine added, “The combination of our world-class bot management and newly added device ID plus web scraping capabilities makes us unique in our industry.”
Arkose Labs offers a proactive fraud deterrence platform designed to combat modern attacks, including those powered by Agentic AI and large language models (LLMs). Its comprehensive solution integrates proprietary device identification (device ID), behavioral analysis, phishing protection, email intelligence, scraping prevention, API defense, and bot management. The platform is utilized by major consumer brands, including two of the top three banks, Microsoft, Meta, and Roblox, to prevent account takeovers, fake account creation, LLM-driven scraping, and SMS toll fraud.
The company’s approach aims to undermine attacker ROI by introducing dynamic friction, making persistent attacks economically unfeasible. Arkose Labs also provides a 24/7 global Security Operations Center (SOC) team, offering managed services and actionable insights derived from its cross-industry intelligence network. Headquartered in San Mateo, California, Arkose Labs maintains offices across APAC, Central America, EMEA, and South America.
