Accenture has announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud, aimed at helping organizations defend against advanced AI-driven cyber threats through the integration of Google Security Operations and Accenture’s global cybersecurity services.

This collaboration addresses the increasing complexity of cybersecurity, particularly as cybercriminals leverage advanced AI tools for hyper-personalized social engineering and autonomous malware. The initiative focuses on delivering unified, intelligence-led cyber defense, connecting human expertise with cloud-native technology to foster proactive business resilience.

Rex Thexton, Chief Technology Officer at Accenture Cybersecurity, highlighted the evolving landscape: “Agentic AI isn’t just reshaping cyber defense strategies, it’s redefining how we secure operations, introducing new levels of complexity for organizations protecting their businesses.” He added that combining the strengths of Google Cloud, Wiz, and Accenture’s expertise would help organizations eliminate security blind spots and secure their cloud-powered digital core against the next generation of automated threats.

The expanded partnership enables organizations to deploy the Google Security Operations platform alongside the Accenture Cybersecurity AI Migration Factory. This combination is designed to accelerate SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) transitions, reduce migration efforts, and enhance threat detection capabilities across development, deployment, and runtime environments.

Accenture’s internal Information Security team is also implementing Wiz across its global cloud infrastructure to enhance risk identification and resolution, demonstrating its commitment to cloud security and responsible AI adoption. Accenture serves as a key partner for customers integrating security stacks across both Wiz and Google Cloud platforms.

Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, stated, “Our partnership with Accenture further strengthens our ability to deliver cloud security offerings and provide customers with a comprehensive solution.” Andy Ritchie, VP Worldwide Channels and Alliances at Wiz, noted that Wiz assists customers in protecting their operations, enabling them to adopt new technologies with confidence.

Accenture has received recent industry recognitions, including being named the highest Leader on the Everest Group Cloud Security Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2025. For the third consecutive year, Accenture was honored as Google Cloud Global Services Partner of the Year and received the Google Cloud Partner global award for Artificial Intelligence – Innovation and Solutions in 2025.
