CellTrust SL2 Enterprise Capture has been identified as one of the initial third-party applications to support Android RCS Archival, a new capability designed to allow businesses to capture and archive messages sent by employees using Google Messages on any fully managed Android device. This development aims to assist Google Pixel for Business in delivering enhanced mobile communications security and compliance.

All Google Messages, including RCS, SMS, and MMS, sent or received through the device’s default messaging application, are securely captured by CellTrust SL2 Enterprise and subsequently archived to the organization’s designated Enterprise Information Archiving (EIA) platform for regulatory compliance and retention. Once configured, the system logs every significant RCS message event, including when a message is sent, received, edited, or deleted. This technical design ensures that archival applications can capture message data promptly before any potential user modifications, such as message deletion.
