NEXT Insurance, a digital insurtech company, has announced significant upgrades to its professional services offering, NEXT Pro+, providing higher limits, smarter pricing, and faster quoting for over 30 professional services professions. This initiative aims to assist agents in delivering tailored coverage swiftly while offering professional services clients enhanced protection against lawsuits, cyberattacks, and other associated risks.

Professional services encompass a wide range of categories, including business consultants, IT professionals, property managers, accountants, engineers, and marketing business owners. According to the 2025 Small Business Profile from the U.

S. Small Business Administration, more than 4.8 million small businesses fall into the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services category. NEXT launched NEXT Pro+ to address the specific needs of these businesses and the agents who serve them, offering broader coverage, market-aligned pricing, increased limits, and a simplified quote and purchase process.

These enhancements also aim to create new revenue opportunities for insurance agents appointed with NEXT, facilitating a simpler, faster method to bundle policies and provide stronger protection at competitive prices.

Tim McDermott, Director of Insurance Product Management at NEXT Insurance, stated, “Professional services business owners are often underprotected, especially in critical areas like EPLI and cyber. With NEXT Pro+, our goal is to give agents and business owners simplified access to tailored and affordable coverage. This directly supports our mission to help small businesses thrive with access to the right protection.”

Key features introduced in NEXT Pro+ include improved rates across professional segments for Errors and Omissions coverage (Professional Liability), alongside a smarter, faster 100% online quoting process designed to eliminate underwriting delays. Cyber Insurance coverage, in partnership with Tokio Marine HCC, is now more broadly available as an endorsement to Business Owners and General Liability policies, with limits increased from $50,000 up to $250,000, and entry pricing starting at $45 annually. Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) limits have been raised to $250,000, and Hired and Non-Owned Auto Coverage (HNOA) limits are expanded up to $1 million.

Maria Weatherman, Insurance Manager at Tax Protection Plus Insurance Services, commented on the upgrades, stating, “With NEXT Pro+ upgrades, it’s easier for me to become a trusted advisor to my professional services clients and give them the peace of mind they need to feel confident in running their business. Providing more tailored, affordable coverage not only helps me protect my clients, but it helps me grow my business through stronger relationships and more referrals.”

Appointed NEXT agents can access more information and begin quoting by logging into the agent portal. New agents interested in the offering can initiate the appointment process. Professional services business owners can obtain instant quotes directly from NEXT via www.nextinsurance.com.
