Vouched, a provider of AI-powered identity and agent verification solutions, has completed its Series A funding round, raising $17 million. The round was led by Spring Rock Ventures, and the capital will support the company’s growth and innovation, particularly in setting trust standards for autonomous agents and human verification.
The new funding follows the introduction of Vouched’s KnowThat.ai, an Agent Reputation Directory, which is part of its “Know Your Agent” (KYA) suite. The KYA solution has been adopted by enterprises in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, and regulated industries. It provides a lifecycle approach to both AI agent and human identity onboarding and verification, alongside continuous monitoring of agent behavior. The suite includes modules for credentials, risk assessment, and continuous compliance, powered by AI and advanced analytics.
KYA enables organizations to onboard agents with verified identities and profiles, monitor agent activities in real-time, and detect anomalous or potentially malicious behavior proactively. The suite aims to establish transparent, secure, and compliant identity standards for next-generation AI agents. It supports open frameworks, such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), to enhance interoperability and trust within agent ecosystems. Additionally, these tools offer developer-friendly APIs and a turnkey MCP-Identity server for rapid implementation of agent identity management in various enterprise environments.
Peter Horadan, CEO of Vouched, stated, “We are doubling down on KYA’s vision of trustworthy autonomous agents and scaling our platform to match the pace of a rapidly evolving digital world with this Series A.” He added, “We are grateful for our investors’ confidence and are excited to realize the next phase of growth for Vouched, our partners, and the communities we serve.”
Since the launch of KYA and KnowThat.ai, Vouched has focused on assisting organizations with the increasing need for secure identity and agent verification as autonomous agents become more prevalent in digital business operations. Andrew Stone, SVP of Fraud and Financial Crimes at BHG Financial, commented on their collaboration with Vouched: “We’re in a new world, from a fraud and identity perspective. Everything is changing quickly, and we all need strong partners in this space. Working with Vouched has been a game‑changer for us. Their team is responsive, collaborative, and truly invested in our success. They don’t just deliver technology—they deliver confidence. With Vouched, we know our identity verification process is adaptive, powerful and future-proofed, which lets us focus on growing our business.”
Vouched’s platform is designed to align with emerging industry standards and regulatory expectations, aiming to support enterprises in navigating the evolving landscape of digital trust. With the new capital, the company intends to advance product development, expand collaborations with industry partners, and drive ongoing innovation for its customers, preparing for future agent-driven interactions.
Vouched specializes in AI-powered identity verification, securing the identities of both AI agents and humans. The platform serves industries with critical verification needs, including healthcare, finance, and automotive. It is utilized by organizations globally to verify millions of human and AI agent identities annually, providing speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
