TradeStation Securities Launches Model Context Protocol for AI Assistant Integration

Share It:

TradeStation Securities, Inc., an online brokerage firm specializing in stocks, options, futures, and futures options, has released its Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection. Developed by its affiliate TradeStation Technologies, Inc., the initial configuration integrates with Claude, an AI assistant from Anthropic, PBC. Plans are in place to expand compatibility with other AI platforms.

This new service allows users to link AI assistants to their TradeStation accounts, offering an interactive approach to trading tools and market engagement. Certain AI assistants provide features for conversational trading experiences, potentially aiding in account position analysis or automating trader actions.

John Bartleman, President and CEO of TradeStation Group, Inc., stated, “Conversation is often the crucible of ideas. Our MCP connection marks a truly exciting, major step forward in bringing more intuitive, conversational experiences to our customers. By connecting AI assistants to the TradeStation ecosystem, customers can customize their experience like never before to execute their strategies. This puts traders in the driver’s seat, allowing them to focus their attention on innovation and strategy, not learning and managing tools. As AI continues to impact how traders think and execute, it’s crucial that the services we offer evolve with them, and this is just one big step in that journey.”

Availability of TradeStation’s MCP connection is subject to applicable account minimums and approvals. Accessing Claude through the TradeStation MCP requires an active Claude Pro subscription, obtainable directly from Anthropic.

Founded in 1995, TradeStation Securities, Inc. operates as a self-clearing securities broker-dealer and futures commission merchant, offering brokerage services for equities, options, futures, and futures options. Users are reminded that all trading involves risk, and AI tools should be used thoughtfully and at their own discretion and risk.
