Tomorrow, a Berlin-based provider of sustainable digital banking, and lemon.markets, a Brokerage-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, have progressed their partnership to widen access to Tomorrow’s sustainable investment offering. This expansion enables new customers to open a securities account and invest in the Tomorrow Fund.
Thanks to lemon.markets’ brokerage and custody infrastructure, those who already hold shares in the Tomorrow Fund (ISIN: DE000A2QK5D4) are now able to purchase additional units. Prior to this, customers were only able to hold existing shares in the Fund, following the initial collaboration between the two firms in 2024.
The Tomorrow Fund tracks the goals of the Paris Agreement and holds an Article 9 classification under the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, which represents the highest tier for sustainable funds. It invests exclusively in publicly listed companies that meet a strict vetting process, covering sectors such as bicycle parts manufacturing and wind turbine technology. The Fund currently maintains positions in over 70 companies.
The enhanced technical integration streamlines account opening and investment processes for both new and existing customers, without requiring Tomorrow to change providers or rebuild its infrastructure. Through an existing API link, lemon.markets manages the entire investment process on Tomorrow’s behalf, encompassing account opening, trade execution, custody, settlement, and regulatory compliance, supported by its BaFin-authorised investment firm status.
This setup has also enabled Tomorrow customers to invest in the Inyova Impact ETF (ISIN: LU3075459852), an actively managed UCITS ETF focused on impact investing, with additional products slated for future release.
Founded in 2018, Tomorrow has established itself as a sustainable banking provider in Europe, serving more than 100,000 customers and backed by approximately 10,000 crowd-investors.
Inas Nureldin, co-founder and co-CEO of Tomorrow, stated that the Tomorrow Fund is now accessible to all individuals interested in investing according to their values. He added that lemon.markets provides the necessary infrastructure partner that enables this expansion and can scale with Tomorrow’s growth and evolving offerings.
Max Linden, founder and CEO of lemon.markets, commented on Tomorrow’s mission to leverage money for positive impact on people and the planet, which the Tomorrow Fund facilitates for investors. He noted that their infrastructure is designed to support this ambition, enabling Tomorrow to scale its offering to a wider audience and continue expanding on the same integration, highlighting the platform’s modular foundation for growing with partners.
