TNS Launches TNSPay SmartRoute for Enhanced Payment Transaction Routing and Resilience

Share It:

Transaction Network Services (TNS) has introduced TNSPay SmartRoute, a new intelligent transaction routing solution designed to offer merchants, acquirers, processors, and FinTechs greater control over performance, cost, and uptime across their payment ecosystems.

The solution enables payment teams to manage and update routing rules in real time, automate failover processes, and gain operational visibility through visual network mapping and comprehensive audit trails. It addresses the challenges posed by increasingly distributed payment environments, where service disruptions can lead to negative customer experiences and revenue losses.

Austin Herrington, Senior Director of Product Management for the Connect Portfolio at TNS Payments Market, stated, “With TNSPay SmartRoute, we’re empowering our customers to take full control of their payment routing, dynamically optimizing for performance, cost and availability – all through one secure platform. This marks a major step forward in resilience and agility for any organization operating across multiple endpoints.”

TNSPay SmartRoute offers several key functionalities: customer-configurable routing allows for dynamic business rules based on performance, geography, cost, or maintenance windows; automated failover and continuity trigger instant, policy-driven failover across data centers and processors to ensure uninterrupted processing; and operational visibility and governance are provided through role-based access, multi-factor authentication (MFA), visual network maps, and end-to-end audit trails.

The solution is built on TNS’ PCI DSS Level 1 environment and supported by 24x7x365 multi-country service from TNS Global Service Support Centers. TNSPay SmartRoute is available globally, with further enhancements anticipated in 2026.

TNS is a global provider of full-stack payment and network solutions, with over 30 years of experience offering managed service solutions to more than 1,400 organizations in over 50 countries.
