The Hiroshima Bank, a subsidiary of Hirogin Holdings, has chosen nCino, a platform for agentic AI banking, to enhance its consumer lending operations, including mortgage loans, as a key component of its Mid-Term Management Plan 2024. The bank, headquartered in Hiroshima City and led by Director and President Kazuo Kiyomune, will integrate the nCino Platform as the central system for its consumer lending business.
This initiative is part of a broader organizational effort to modernize the bank’s sales processes and improve operational efficiency. The bank’s Mid-Term Management Plan 2024 focuses on fostering mutual growth across the region, its customers, and the wider Hirogin Group, with sales process reform identified as a critical pillar.
Despite previous advancements in its consumer lending business, such as restructured interest rates and expanded online application options, The Hiroshima Bank determined that further improvements in sales capabilities and efficiency were necessary to achieve its strategic objectives.
With the nCino platform, The Hiroshima Bank intends to consolidate its entire consumer lending process—encompassing mortgage, apartment, and unsecured loans—onto a unified cloud-based system. This system will manage the process from initial application through to contract completion, replacing previous paper-based procedures and disparate systems. The bank anticipates that this change will enable staff to manage a higher volume of cases and dedicate more time to personalized customer service and advisory roles. Furthermore, it is expected to significantly improve the customer experience, with a target to reduce response times to approximately ten minutes.
Itsuki Nomura, nCino Representative Director and Country Manager, stated, “We are honored to be able to support Hiroshima Bank’s challenge in the mortgage lending business through nCino’s platform. We will continue to provide flexible, scalable solutions to further contribute to the region.”
