ServiceNow and NVIDIA have expanded their partnership to integrate intelligent workflows and open models, aiming to scale trusted AI across various industries. This collaboration introduces Apriel 2.0, the next generation of ServiceNow’s Apriel Nemotron open model family, which is engineered for enhanced AI reasoning and multimodal capabilities in a more efficient footprint. The expanded partnership also includes the integration of intelligent ServiceNow workflows with the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design to transform data center operations.
The companies have a history of collaboration in bringing enterprise-grade AI to large organizations. This new phase focuses on scaling trusted AI, powering solutions from next-generation open models to secure AI agents designed to address service-related challenges across diverse businesses, including those in regulated sectors. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to making high-performance, proven, and trusted AI accessible to every enterprise.

Central to the expanded collaboration is Apriel 2.0, which is designed to deliver the reasoning and accuracy of significantly larger models while being more compact. According to Gartner®, “By 2027, smaller, context-specific models will outpace their counterparts, with usage volume at least three times greater than that of general-purpose LLMs.” Apriel 2.0 combines efficient performance with responsible data vetting, safety guardrails, and transparency controls. This design aims to provide high-quality reasoning for more workflows with the confidence required for deployment in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and telecom. The model features enhanced reasoning and native multimodal input support, enabling it to interpret screenshots, forms, and diagrams for more contextual understanding across various enterprise workflows. Apriel 2.0 is specifically developed to power autonomous and semi-autonomous agents at scale, facilitating low-latency, multi-step reasoning across systems and datasets. This new model builds upon the original Apriel Nemotron 15B model, introduced earlier this year at Knowledge 2025, which is currently in production. ServiceNow also recently launched Apriel-1.5-15B-Thinker, an open-source small language model that achieves frontier-level reasoning on a single GPU, utilizing pre-training text data from NVIDIA Nemotron.
ServiceNow and NVIDIA are extending these innovations to enterprise operations by integrating into NVIDIA AI Factory reference designs, which facilitate the creation, training, and deployment of AI solutions. By integrating with the ServiceNow AI Platform and advanced workflow capabilities, companies can enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experiences. This collaboration will enable the creation of out-of-the-box AI agents to help retailers address service requests, ranging from gift card replacement to point-of-sale malfunctions, aiming to resolve issues faster with reduced manual effort. It will also support greater efficiency and security within the federal government through AI agents that assist government missions, such as capturing, tracking, and fulfilling critical citizen and interagency requests. Furthermore, the partnership will leverage ServiceNow Data Center and Network Asset Management capabilities to help AI Factories maintain, visualize, and optimize data center and critical environmental assets.
The Apriel 2.0 model is anticipated to be in production by Q1 2026. The integration of ServiceNow Data Center and Network Asset Management with NVIDIA AI Factories is also expected to be available in Q1 2026.
