SER Group has announced its rebranding to Doxis, aligning the company with its flagship Intelligent Content Automation platform and solutions, alongside the appointment of new senior leaders in sales and artificial intelligence to accelerate commercial success and innovation as “The Document Intelligence Company”.

The rebrand signifies a new chapter in the company’s evolution as a provider of intelligent content automation software, building on 40 years of innovation and profitable growth, which continued into 2025. While the company name has changed, its products and services will retain their existing names.

Dr. John Bates, CEO of Doxis, stated that over five million users engage with the Doxis platform daily for efficient, compliant, and intelligent work processes. He also noted the integration of three acquired companies over the past twelve months, which broadened the platform’s value. Bates expressed enthusiasm for sharing the new Doxis brand and its Document Intelligence vision with customers and partners, now united under the Doxis brand and led by its AI assistant, Doxi.

As “The Document Intelligence Company,” Doxis aims to provide a comprehensive suite of solutions for the entire document lifecycle on a unified, AI-first platform. Bates highlighted that Doxis offers “true end-to-end document lifecycle automation and governance on one platform,” which integrates with enterprise technologies such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft, contrasting with competitors’ fragmented point solutions. This strategic evolution incorporates recent investments, including acquisitions in customer communication management, SAP document automation, and intelligent document processing, enabling customers to consolidate siloed solutions.

To support global expansion and innovation under the new Doxis brand, the company has strengthened its leadership team with three key appointments in Sales and AI. Yeelen Knegtering, co-founder and CEO of IDP provider Klippa (acquired by Doxis in March 2025), has been named Chief AI Officer. In this role, Knegtering will lead Doxis’ company-wide AI strategy, encompassing AI implementation, ethics, and governance, to bridge technology and business objectives and foster innovation, efficiency, and new revenue streams.

Andy Spence joins Doxis as Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing the global sales organization, including Solution Engineering and Revenue Operations. Spence brings experience from public and private equity-backed software companies, having previously served as Chief Sales Officer at Accelya and leading EMEA North at Qlik. Additionally, Jean Van Vuuren has been appointed Vice President of Sales EMEA, contributing over two decades of experience in the enterprise content management (ECM) and intelligent document processing (IDP) markets, with a focus on growth across healthcare and international sectors.

Bates concluded by emphasizing the significant investments made in the refreshed Doxis brand, the enhanced Document Intelligence vision, and the strengthened leadership team to meet customer demands for growth and innovation in 2026. Doxis is recognized by industry analysts and serves over 3,000 customers and 5 million users in more than 150 countries.
