Sectigo, a global provider of automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital certificates, has announced a strategic partnership with Bluechip Infotech, a prominent Australian IT distributor, to expand the distribution of its CLM and cybersecurity solutions across Australia.
Sectigo’s collaboration with Bluechip Infotech aims to assist Australian businesses in adapting to new industry regulations set to take effect on March 15, 2026. These forthcoming rules will mandate certificate renewals every six months, necessitating the adoption of automation to prevent service disruptions, maintain compliance, and uphold digital trust. Manual processes are anticipated to be insufficient for managing these shortened certificate lifecycles, which could expose businesses to costly downtime and security vulnerabilities without centralized, automated solutions.
Through this partnership, Bluechip Infotech gains access to Sectigo’s portfolio, including Sectigo Certificate Manager for both public and private Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and a suite of web security offerings. Concurrently, Sectigo expands its regional presence to meet the increasing demand for automated certificate management. The joint objective is to help organizations mitigate risk, enhance certificate visibility, streamline management, and prepare their teams for cryptographic agility as IT environments grow in complexity.
A report from Sectigo, the State of Crypto Agility Report, indicates that 96% of organizations express concern regarding the potential impact of shorter SSL/TLS certificate lifespans on their operations. This highlights a global imperative for organizations to modernize their approach to certificate management in response to evolving security landscapes.
Ray Garnie, vice president of sales, APAC, at Sectigo, stated, “Partnering with Bluechip Infotech marks a significant step in strengthening Sectigo’s footprint across Australia. By utilizing Bluechip Infotech’s robust channel relationships and comprehensive understanding of the Australian cybersecurity landscape, we are empowering partners to deliver scalable, automated certificate lifecycle management and digital trust solutions that address both current and future security and compliance requirements.”
Willy Harsono, director of marketing & alliances at Bluechip Infotech, commented on the alliance, saying, “As digital identity and certificate management become integral to modern security strategies, Sectigo’s solutions offer a valuable addition to our cybersecurity portfolio. This partnership enables our resellers and managed service providers to help customers simplify certificate operations, reduce risk, and bolster trust across their digital environments, while also laying the groundwork for cryptographic agility in anticipation of a quantum future.”
As an authorized distributor, Bluechip Infotech will provide its partners with sales enablement, technical training, marketing support, and local expertise for deploying Sectigo solutions within the Australian market. The partnership is effective immediately, making Sectigo solutions available to Bluechip Infotech partners nationwide.
