Ridley, an AI-powered real estate platform focused on commission-free home sales, announced it has secured $6.4 million in a seed funding round led by Fifth Wall to expand its proprietary AI capabilities and introduce new buyer-focused tools.

The funding round saw participation from 1984 Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, Moxxie Ventures, Aglae Ventures, Park Rangers Capital, and angel investors, including executives from Stripe and Google. This capital is designated to accelerate Ridley’s objective of reshaping the real estate industry around consumer needs. It will support the expansion of its AI capabilities for home sellers and the launch of a new suite of buyer-focused tools.

Specifically, the investment will facilitate the upcoming debut of Ridley’s buy-side experience, which aims to offer buyers access to private listings, homes for sale, and properties identified as “soon to be listed” through proprietary predictive analytics. The capital will also be used to further develop Ridley’s seller tools and extend the availability of Ridley Preferred Agents, who provide commission-free expert assistance on demand. These features, combined with AI-driven guidance, property-specific insights from homeowners, and interactive chat, are designed to create a personalized, data-informed approach to real estate transactions.

Mike Chambers, CEO and Founder of Ridley, commented on the market landscape. “The current real estate market was not built around consumers – and it’s costing families across the U.

S. as much as $100 billion a year,” Chambers stated. He added that the funding round will enable the company to continue developing a comprehensive, lower-cost, consumer-led experience. “By expanding into the buy-side and introducing new features, we’re creating a modern marketplace where both buyers and sellers benefit from real value, instead of losing out on profit from traditional fees,” he explained.

Dan Wenhold, Partner at Fifth Wall, the largest investment firm focused on technology for the built environment, remarked on Ridley’s approach. “Ridley is redefining what a modern real estate transaction should look like,” Wenhold said. He highlighted that by eliminating unnecessary fees and integrating AI directly into the consumer’s experience, Ridley is fostering a level of transparency and efficiency previously unachievable in the industry. Wenhold further noted, “What Mike and his team are building isn’t just a better user experience, it’s a fundamental re-architecture of the housing marketplace. We’re excited to support Ridley as they scale a truly consumer-first model.”Ridley’s early market performance indicates consumer interest in alternatives to traditional commission-based models. Since its launch on July 15 of this year, the platform has generated over $4.6 billion in lead volume and currently features more than $350 million in private listings. The company has reported 57 homes sold, with an average of 33 days on market and a 98.3% list-to-sold ratio. These results precede the platform’s planned buyer-side expansion.

Ridley positions itself as a streamlined method for home sales. The platform guides sellers through creating and distributing listings across major home-buying platforms, utilizing AI-powered tools, on-demand legal support, and concierge services. It aims to assist various sellers, from first-time homeowners to experienced individuals and builders, by simplifying the sale process, maintaining user control, and reducing transaction costs.
