Singapore-headquartered Qapita, an equity management software provider, has secured $26.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Charles Schwab Corporation, coinciding with a strategic collaboration to roll out Schwab Private Issuer Equity Services in the US.
The investment will support Qapita’s US expansion, as the company will assist Charles Schwab with the launch of its new equity management solution for private companies in late-stage pre-IPO, while Charles Schwab will aid Qapita in scaling its equity and fund management platform across the US market.
Schwab Private Issuer Equity Services is described by Charles Schwab as a comprehensive equity management solution specifically designed to support private companies in their final stages before an initial public offering. Qapita’s platform offers features such as cap table management, ESOP administration, stock plan design tools, automated valuation services, financial reporting capabilities, and data visualisation dashboards.
Srikanth Prabhu, Qapita’s VP of business, stated via LinkedIn that the proposed North American expansion aims to “serve the founder-investor-employee ecosystem, unlocking value and liquidity for stakeholders in the private markets.” This Series B round, announced on October 13, 2025, saw the participation of existing investors Citi and MassMutual Ventures, among others including NYCA Partners, Endiya Partners, Cercano, AltoPartners, Avaana Capital, and K3 Ventures.
Led by co-founder and CEO Ravi Ravulaparthi, Qapita previously raised $15 million in a Series A funding round in 2021. That round was co-led by East Ventures and Vulcan Capital and included a strategic investment from Citi.
